・Hello! Project 2024 Summer tour

It's been 4 years since last Hello! Project tour with every current members.

Yokoyama : It makes fans really happy about it, and that's what makes me the happiest.

Kitagawa : More than being on stage with 72 members, we can also connect even more with everyone. It's allow us to meet more members of Hello! Project. 

Kitagawa's goal for this tour is to take selfies with as many members as possible and then post them on SNS. She's managed to take only two so far.

Yokoyama : When Rio wants to take a picture with a member, she's usually shy so I go with her.

Kitagawa : Thank you senpai.

    Yokoyama  Reina

Yokoyama remembers her idol debut, with her rather ordinary haircuts (black hair, bob hair). She wanted to take some new challenges lately so she just decided to bleached them blonde. She's happy to be able to show herself in so many different ways and would like to try some new colors later. Her hair takes up a lot of her personal time, because dyeing it requires intensive care. The color has changed her hair's texture, she had to review her shampoos, her care products, the way she styles them...

Yokoyama : Before, I used to wear oversized sweatshirts and things like that, but bleached my hair in blonde and then pink makes me want to change my way of clothing myself. Now I want to look like a French doll. I love to wear long dress. I'm feel more girly.

On the other day, Yokoyama went to see her favorite group UNISON SQUARE GARDEN concert at Nippon Budokan. She went to that concert with her younger brother, with whom she enjoys sharing many of her passions.

Yokoyama : It was just a really happy for me. I cried at the moment the concert started". Reina listened to this group for about 10 years now. I love them because they are pioneers in what they do, they are good artists. It's like... what they do, only them can do it. It has this unique feeling, I really love them.

On the other day, she went to the planetarium with Reina on a private date.

Kitagawa : It was a really fun time - but only because I went to with Yokoyama-san (lol). It really has that "summer festival" spirit. There was lots of fireworks, lots of beautiful lights. We could climb stairs and have an incredible view.

Yokoyama : Kitagawa is really good at finding good places to hang out, that's why I completely trust her. The private moments we spend together are always organized by Kitagawa and it's always good times.

・New songs
    Nandaka Sentimental na Toki no Uta

Yokoyama : I think that some members still feel a bit strange about that song... We performed it for the first time during our concert at Nippon Budokan. We could feel in the audience "What's that ?" (lol) But that's the correct answer, we also felt that. But at the end, we really like the song. 

Kitagawa : When I recorded it, I felt like "I have grown up so much". At first I didn't really get into it but by singing it, I was able to make it my own and understand the lyrics.

Yokoyama : Tsunku-san always manage to create songs with lyrics that reflects the words he wanted to convey to members. This time, I really wondered a lot about what he wanted to say to us. I'm an adult now, I'm already 24 so it makes me think a lot about myself.

    Style of recording

Kitagawa : I like to tapping rhythmically on headphones and waving a pen like a magic wand (lol)

Yokoyama : I don't think I'm good at recording, I'm always twirling around (lol) Kitagawa is the same but with her hand, right!?

    Nandaka Sentimental na Toki no Uta MV

Yokoyama : I always feel embarassing about how about I look in MV especially on solo parts, even though members gives me lots of compliments everytime. I don't like to watch those viewing parties (lol)

    SaiKIYOU

Yokoyama : Title being "the best", I asked myself in which way I wanted to be the best: the rap part. It took about 340 minutes to record it. I wanted to do the best rap part ever. Staff was also careful and allowed me to recording it again and again.

    Each other's strongest point

Kitagawa : Yokoyama-san's performance are always cool. She has a unique way to dance. During rehearsal, I always take a footage to watch and practice at home. On those time, I always look at Yokoyama-san, I use her as my role model.

Yokoyama : Kitagawa is my kohai but there's many things I respect about her, such as her ability to accomplish her work. I tend to get bored easily, but when I see her never give up, it makes me feel like "I can do it too". Rio is important to me because she always motivates me to do things both in work as in my private life.

    Next tour, Ishida Ayumi's graduation

Yokoyama : I still don't feel like it's real and I'm not really excited about her leaving... but I want to do a tour that brings out the best of that only the 13 of us can do.
