MC REPORT

・First concert

・Motto Corner (Ishida, Haga, Sakurai)

Sakurai's motto : "I want more praise!"

Sakurai : It's not about us. I want more praise for our staff members.
Ishida : They have to manage each member individually, but also manage the group of 13 people who must form only one unit. All this with just 10 fingers. Isn't that amazing?

Sakurai : I ripped my clothes during rehearsals. When I told the costume designer that it was ripped, they asked me "Let me borrow you for a minute" and they fixed it in a second. Isn't that amazing?

Ishida : Also the people behind the camera... No matter what position we are in, it always shows us correctly. They remembers everyone's position. Earlier during the concert, they had to show me next, but they didn't know who to show anymore... Then they heard my voice from the right and that's how they knew. Isn't that amazing?

Haga : We raise our hands during a performance and they had to take the shot from the hand to the face of the member who sang... That means they even remember how long our hands are. It's a bit scary.

・Unit Corner
"Iroppoi Jirettai" (Ishida, Nonaka, Makino, Okamura, Yamazaki, Sakurai, Yumigeta)

Makino : The last time I performed that song was in 2016 when I was 15 years old. Today, I'm 23 years old. I try to work the song passionately with Rairi.

・Members' impressions

Yumigeta : Before this tour, I thought I wasn't really good at singing cute songs, but performing "Watashi no Miryoku ni Kizukanai Donkan na Hito" alongside Inoue made me realized I've completely conquered that! I feel confident singing every song on this tour. It's thanks to all of you. I want to learn how to express myself more so that I can sing any song with confidence.

Inoue : I almost was late because I couldn't get my hair done, but Sakurai-san came out from somewhere, gave me some good-smelling spray, and managed to do my hair in no time.

Sakurai : "Watashi no Jidai" is a song I've been singing a lot of time since I joined. It's a really fun and exciting song, did you all feel the excitement?!

Yamazaki : This is the last hall concert of the tour, and we're having our Nippon Budokan concert on the next week. It's very early that year, but, I have something I want to tell you all. Next month, half of this year will be over. I just wanted to say this. I hope you all make the most of each and every day.

Okamura : Is there anyone here who also going to our Nippon Budokan concert? (Audience : Yes!) See you on the next week then. During this time, Homare and the group will be getting more powerful, so if you're coming to the Budokan, please save your excitement. If you can't make it, please support us through the streaming.

Kitagawa : When I went backstage to take care of something during the unit performances, I could hear everyone's voices all the way backstage. It was really great and moving, and it made me happy to know that our feelings were being conveyed to everyone.

Yokoyama : Today we're in Tochigi and I'm from Saitama, so I'm really happy to be able to do concerts in the Kanto region. I consider the whole Kanto region to be my hometown. Tochigi is a big part of the Kanto region, so there must be many more places where I can give concerts. I will do my best to give more concerts in the Kanto region.

Haga : Yesterday, during "SONGS", when Oda-san sang her first line "Ikiru no ga heta", we had an eyecontact and she was so cool that I thought Oda-san was the main character of "SONGS". So today, I tried my best to be the main character in all the songs.

Makino : Well, well, well, there are many beautiful people today. Beppinsan, Beppinsan, Beppinsan, Dodoriasan, and Ishida-san! With the king of the universe, it was Makino Maria!

Nonaka : Today there were gyoza in the catering and we all ate gyoza, so today we are made of gyoza.

Oda : Morning Musume。has been doing hall concerts for a long time, but only the big venues remain on DVD. For example, when it comes to Rival Survival, everyone thinks of the final concert Yokohama Arena, but we've held dozens of hall concerts too. I hope today's concert will be another memorable one.

Ishida : During the Motto MC we talked about how amazing our team is. People say the medleys at Morning Musume。concerts are amazing. But we are the ones standing on stage, so we have to be amazing at the end, otherwise everyone's work will be wasted. We did our best today so that people would say "Morning Musume。was amazing" and not just "The lights were amazing" or "The medley was amazing". And everyone's support was amazing too.

Ikuta : The other day, I was having a drink with Takahashi-san and Niigaki-san. When they call me, it's usually late at night, but this time, they called me in the evening, so I went straight away. They wanted to see a record of our performance on "Jounetsu no Kiss wo Hitotsu" so I showed it to them, and they were really complimentary about it. I thought that this is how the senpai and kohai respect each other, and how Morning Musume。is the one that keeps on singing.


・ENCORE

Ikuta : With today’s concerts and the final at Budokan, there are now only three shows left on this tour. Our final concert will be streamed on Hulu. We also filmed a talk documentary in which each member talked about their thoughts on Morning Musume。and their individual goals as well. I think a new era has started with new repartition lyrics, new challenges for each member on the first tour under the new members lineup. I hope you will all support us until the end.

・Second concert

・Motto Corner  (Ikuta, Makino, Kitagawa)

Ikuta's motto : I want to know more about everyone's normal life!

Ikuta : I think there are differences in what each member considers normal, so I would like to discuss this in a debate format. Like, smartphone. We're using them for a long time today. How many minutes can you take the smartphone of your hand?

Makino : Should we count in minutes? Anyway to be honest... As long as I don't have to work, I can let go of it for any amount of time. Even months.

Kitagawa : I couldn't spend even one minute without my phone. It's my treasure. People will say they had to have their plush to sleep ; I have to get my smartphone in my hand to breathe. 

Makino : Even when you go to cinema? You keep it? I'm put it in my bag.

Kitagawa : Eh!? I couldn't! I put it in my pocket or put it on my leg.

Ikuta : Me too. But I'm using it when I'm outside only. When I'm home, I'm cleaning up.

・Unit Corner
"Watashi no Dekkai Hana" (Ishida, Makino, Yokoyama)

Nonaka : It's a really good song and I almost cry every time. I almost cried in backstages today. I thought this would be another memory from this tour. I usually give this corner to the members who sang in the unit, but today I really wanted to congrats them.

・Members' impressions

Yumigeta : I set a goal to attend all the concert on this tour, and I achieved it today! I had a lot of fun participating in all the concerts. I'll do my best to show how much I've grown at the Budokan final concert.

Inoue : I'm as nervous at every performance as I was on the first day, and today is the last performance, so I'll probably be nervous even if I do 100 performances. For the Budokan concert, I want to turn this nervousness into a good thing.

Sakurai : Did you have fun today!? (Audience: Yes!) Do you love Morning Musume。!? (Audience: Yes!) Was Rairi shining enough!? (Audience: Yes!) Without your cheering, the concert would not be possible. Please support us at the Budokan too.

Yamazaki : There's one part of this tour that I really like... The performance of "SONGS"! Everytime I give it my all, I dance with all my heart, with all my soul. I want to do more dances and songs in the future.

Okamura : Everyone... I've been bitten by a mosquito (left thigh bite mark is shown in the vision). It was really itchy, even after Yokoyama-san took care of me, but once the concert started I was having so much fun I forgot about the itch!

Kitagawa : I have so many memories from this tour, like when we celebrated my birthday on the opening day, or when Okayama became my hometown. I'm going to the Budokan with a lot of memories, so please come to the Budokan with your memories from the tour too.

Yokoyama : On this tour, I made eye contact with all the members, it made me very happy and made me feel again that I was making a concert with all the members.

Haga : "Kimi Sae Ireba Nani mo Iranai" is one of my my favourite song, so I'm really happy to sing it on this tour. I song a line I really like "Kono ko no egao wo dare mo ubaccha dame", alongside Rairi. I'm really happy to be able to sing with Rairi. I would like to continue singing various Morning Musume。songs in the future. 

Makino : My first name is Maria, and today's last concert hall was the best ever! 

Nonaka : I left the lid of a plastic bottle open again... In Okayama, I left the lid open on a plastic bottle and spilled tea in the dressing room, but today I realised that and put the lid back on. I don't know if it's a good analogy to use with plastic bottles, but I think this tour was a tour where we were able to build up a series of ideas of what we should do and what we should fix. 

Oda : There's those conerts when we're smiling at the members when your eyes meet theirs during a concert, there's those concerts when we kept our expressions as if we were in the world of the song. I don't know which is the right answer, but I could feel the growth of the members on this tour by making eye contact without changing their facial expressions. We still have Budokan final concert. We will do our best so that people will say it was the best stage ever.

Ishida : I have something to say to those of you who came to the concert. Today, it's easy to watch live footage on youtube and others, but there are things that can only be seen live. You can see how this girl makes eye contact with this member here, or how this girl is on the vision, but this girl is dancing next to her... There are things that you can't understand or see unless you come to a live performance. But that's not including Budokan concert because it's always broadcast, right!? So I would like to thank everyone who came to the concert for watching every single moment of the members for the whole two hours.

Ikuta : "One · Two · Three" is a song I'm very attached to. increased the number of fans for the group, and people who didn't know about me got to know me! I was very compared to Sayashi because I got only a "Ru" as a solo part, but I'm part of the original members lineup for the song. That is why I've got so many memories from that song. I'm happy to sing it, this is the first in the first tour in which I'm the leader. I don't want people to say that we're a group just because of the amount of songs we sing. I want people to see each member shining. Please keep come to our concert to see every member!
