I'm the "bright" one of Morning Musume。'22 (laughs). I also do radio work, so I think I contribute to the group in terms of talk. The spirit that hasn't changed for 25 years is comparable to sports club. It's great that there's a solid relationship between senpai and kohai, and I want to take it to the next level. And, there are some things that need to change. Right now there's about a 10-year age gap between the oldest and the youngest member. Times change, after all, so I think it's natural that the way we used to think is different from the way we used to think before. I would like to keep the attitude of accepting each other as important.
As for personal changes, only recently have I come to love singing and dancing. Before, when I saw people who were great, I used to be negative about myself, thinking that I wasn't good enough... But one of my kohai, Okamura Homare, praises me a lot, so maybe I've simply gained confidence. I used to be too embarrassed to watch live shootings, but now I kinda like to watch them (laughs). I was given a solo part in "Chu Chu Chu Chu Bokura no Mirai", I hope you can see how I've grown by that solo part. Up until now, since I've been joined the group, I've been desperate to take care of myself, so from now on I want to do my best for the group. I also want to work hard on my personal work so that people can say that I've gained more fans thanks to me.
